i bought the youth xc1 vest in black size 10 for my son recently and am happy with it so far he needed a warm vest for outdoor sports and this one seems to fit the bill it has handy features like a chest pocket soft collar hand warmer pockets and a wind and water resistant polyester shell the mesh liner helps wick moisture and the double stitched seams add durability my son says the vest is pretty cozy and blocks the wind well he's worn it a few times biking and running outside when it's chilly and stays nice and warm i do wish the sizing ran a little bigger cuz it's just a tad snug on him but he can still layer under it fine for the price this vest seems well made with decent quality the ykk zipper is smooth too i'd give it 4 out of 5 stars overall shipping was faster than i expected which was nice the vest arrived in perfect condition if you need an affordable outdoor vest for youth/kids i'd recommend this one customer service was also very helpful and resolved any questions i had quickly this is just based on my personal experience with this vest just wanted to share some quick thoughts in case it's helpful for other parents looking for something similar
