Shipping & Returns
MotoHorse is committed to providing a seamless shopping experience while aligning with industry standards and operational requirements. This policy ensures clarity for our customers while protecting our business against financial and procedural risks.
Shipping Policy
Order Processing
- Orders placed before 3:00 PM CT will typically ship the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the next business day.
- Delays may occur during periods of high order volume or technical issues. Customers will be notified promptly if delays impact their orders.
Shipping Methods
- MotoHorse uses UPS Ground or FedEx Ground for all shipments.
- Certain oversized or hazardous items may require special handling, which could result in additional fees or longer processing times.
- Tracking information will be emailed within 24 hours of shipment.
Shipping Restrictions
- We currently ship only to addresses within the contiguous 48 states and Washington D.C.
- Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, military addresses (APO/FPO), or P.O. Boxes will be rejected.
- "Truck-only" parts or hazardous materials may not be eligible for shipment.
Shipping Costs
- Flat Shipping Rates:
- $18 per ATV tire/wheel.
- $35 for 4 tires/wheels; $8 per additional tire beyond the 4th.
- Standard Shipping: $9.75 per order (Free for orders over $49.99).
- Tires/Wheels:
- E-Bikes: $249.95 per bike (includes freight, insurance, and handling).
- Overweight Packages (≥40 lbs): $33 surcharge.
- Additional Fees:
- Refused Shipments: Customers will be billed for return shipping, original shipping costs, and any additional carrier fees.
- Address Corrections: Incorrect shipping addresses requiring correction will incur additional fees.
- Oversized Packages: Additional fees may apply for oversized items based on carrier policies.
- Package Intercept Requests: Fees will apply for requests to intercept or redirect packages after shipment.
Returns and Exchanges
Return Eligibility
- Time Frame:
- Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
- Condition:
- Items must be returned in new, unused condition, with all original packaging, tags, and components intact.
- Items requiring repackaging may be subject to a 25% fee.
- Electronics, chemicals, tools, and hazardous items are non-returnable once opened.
- Exclusions:
- Sales of closeout items, discontinued items, inactive items, electrical items, items not in saleable condition (ex. ripped, cracked, scratched, broken, etc.) are final and non-returnable.
Return Authorization (RA)
- All returns require pre-approval through a Return Authorization (RA).
- RA requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery through your MotoHorse account.
- Once issued, products must be returned within 7 days, clearly marked with ing the RA number on the shipping label.
Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was shipped in error.
- A prepaid return shipping label can be provided for a $9.99 fee, deducted from the refund.
Refund Process
- Inspection:
- Returned items are inspected upon receipt to ensure compliance with return conditions.
- Non-compliant returns may be subject to additional fees or rejection.
- Processing:
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method, minus applicable fees.
Exchange Policy
- For faster service, customers are encouraged to place a new order for the desired product while the return is processed.
Specialized Items
- Tires and Hazardous Materials:
- Additional fees may apply for oversized, hazardous, or truck-only items. Customers will be notified of such fees at checkout or prior to shipment.
- Restricted Use Items:
- Certain items designated as "Race-Only" must be used solely for competition purposes. Customers must acknowledge compliance before purchase.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
- Damaged items must be reported within 5 days of delivery, including photos of the damage and original packaging.
- MotoHorse will assist with carrier claims but is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit once handed to the carrier.
Sales Tax Compliance
- MotoHorse complies with state tax nexus laws and collects sales tax where required. Customers are responsible for understanding their local tax obligations.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth experience, customers must:
- Verify shipping addresses before submitting orders.
- Review product specifications and compatibility before purchase.
- Accept shipments unless prior arrangements for returns are made.
Warranty Assistance
MotoHorse facilitates manufacturer warranty claims but does not provide direct warranties. Warranty coverage and timelines are determined by the manufacturer.
