After a few weeks of use this tall detachable backrest has proven to be a great addition for my passenger's comfort on longer rides. As a casual rider who enjoys weekend trips with my wife as passenger this backrest improves her comfort and makes our rides much more enjoyable.

The tall detachable backrest from Chieftain gets the job done with extra height my wife appreciates, but the thin padding and easily scratched chrome finish leave something to be desired compared to more deluxe options.

The tall detachable backrest for Indian Chieftains is a great add-on for any long-distance rider, I'm an enthusiast who recently started using one on my bike and wanted to share some quick thoughts, the backrest is taller than standard with a smaller pad but still provides great lumbar support for my passenger who's definitely more comfortable on long rides now.
