as an avid cyclist always looking to customize my ride i was eager to try out the gatlin valve stem caps with a perfect customer rating i had high hopes that these caps would be a stylish upgrade over the basic black plastic caps that came stock on my bike upon receiving the gatlin caps i was pleased to see they arrived undamaged thanks to secure packaging and faster than expected shipping however once installed on my wheels i found the anodized black aluminum material to be no more eye catching than the standard caps while they may match the style of black axle caps and grips the finish is not as shiny or sleek as i expected the caps seem durable enough to protect the valve stems but they dont add much flair for cyclists looking to personalize their ride with some subtle touches the gatlin caps get the job done but compared to custom engraved or colorfully anodized caps these are disappointingly basic unless youre specifically going for an all blacked out aesthetic id spend a bit more for caps with more visual pop
