The alarm disc lock has a nice chrome finish and loud alarm that helps deter theft, but small scratches show easily on the chrome and the carrying pouch isn’t as nice as some competitors.

Wow the Alarm Disc Lock really lives up to its name I was so excited to try this top of the line security device that I could barely contain myself let me tell you after several weeks of use this thing totally prevented my bike from getting stolen – not I mean it does make a really annoying sound if someone tries to roll your bike away but who’s to say the thief won’t just pick it up and toss it in their van anyway guess I was naive to think this flimsy little device could replace a real lock but in all seriousness the alarm is decently loud and the flashing light helps draw attention too the reminder cable is handy so you don’t forget to take the lock off before riding shipping took forever but the package arrived undamaged so no complaints there overall it’s a nifty gadget for the casual rider who wants a little extra security just don’t expect it to fully protect your ride from determined thieves for the average user like me it adds a nice layer of protection and peace of mind

as a casual user and owner of the alarm disc lock i was initially drawn to this product for the security and theft deterrence it seemed to offer with a loud alarm thick 7mm locking pin and included reminder cable i hoped it would give me peace of mind when parking my motorcycle after using the lock for several months i have a few critiques from an indepth firsthand perspective first the good it does seem sturdy and wellconstructed the alarm is extremely loud which should scare away any potential thieves it also shipped and arrived undamaged and faster than expected however the lock itself is bulky and heavy carrying it around on the included pouch is inconvenient the locking mechanism also sticks occasionally ive had a few instances where the key doesnt turn smoothly to unlock it this could potentially leave you stranded if youre in a rush the included batteries also drained faster than i expected overall the alarm disc lock seems to provide a level of security but with some compromises for the price i wish some of the design and usability kinks were worked out id only recommend to riders who are extremely concerned about theft and dont mind the bulk more casual riders may want to consider alternative locks or chains that are lighter and less prone to jamming

i bought the alarm disc lock with 7mm pin to keep my motorcycle safe im just a casual rider not an expert but i wanted a good lock this one seemed ok the lock comes with a cable to remind you its on a carry case and 2 keys it runs on batteries its supposed to alarm if someone messes with it i tried it out and the alarm is really loud im sure it would scare off any thieves the lock seems solid too and would be hard to break installing it was prety easy the instructions werent perfect but i figured it out after a few weeks the alarm started going off all the time for no reason it was super annoying having to turn it off constantly i called the company and they were nice but didnt really fix the problem overall i wouldnt recomend this lock it worked at first but the quality just isnt there the alarm malfunctioning makes it useless for the price you can find something better that really protects your bike this lock looks good but doesnt deliver ill be returning it and trying a different brand
