I bought the rod race and bushing set by S&S for my big twin and I gotta say this thing rocks, the customer service folks were super helpful when I had a couple questions, they got back to me right away, these races and bushings are made in the good ole USA which is always nice to see, the set comes with the rod bearing races which are hardened steel so they should hold up well, it also has the bronze wrist pin bushings, from what I can tell the parts look well made, I’m just an enthusiast not a professional mechanic but I was able to get these installed and fitted fairly easily following the directions, I’m thrilled with how smooth and quiet my engine runs now, night and day difference, overall I’d definitely recommend these for any big twin owner looking to rebuild their top end, the parts seem high quality and the price is fair, S&S makes good stuff, just make sure to measure properly and take your time installing for best results, your bike will purr like a kitten after.
