Yo, I picked up this Trail CV boot to fix my ride after she started making some wack clicking noises. Came with the boot, some clamps, grease and a cone tool so you can get the boot on without bustin’ a knuckle but this boot be more annoying than my ex – the instructions look like they were written by a 5 year old and getting the boot on the cone tool was a pain, I probably said some choice words trying to stretch this thing over the cone.

The EZ Trail Boot Universal CV Boot Kit has what you need to replace a busted boot on the trail but the flimsy cone tool and vague instructions made the install tricky though their customer service resolved any issues I had quickly so it’ll get the job done in a pinch.

Yo gearheads been awhile since I dropped a review but I gotta shout about this EZ Trail CV boot kit replacing torn CV boots can be a pain but this kit made it mad simple the expandable boot just slides right over the reusable cone tool and seals up real nice the stainless steel clamps lock it down tight kit comes with some grease too so your CV joint stays slick I slapped this thing on trailside to get back riding in no time install was stupid easy compared to other boot kits I’ve used no cutting or gluing or any of that jazz the cone tool is money since it expands the boot perfectly and you can use it again and again genius boot material seems rugged but still flexible when it’s cold out I beat on it pretty good off-road and no splits or cracks yet we’ll see how she holds up long term but so far so good now the clamps in some kits suck and don’t get tight enough not an issue here the dual size clamps snug up nice on most vehicles oh and the cone lube and instructions are a nice touch too only real knock is the shipping took over a week to arrive which sucked but the customer service folks were dope and hooked me up overall this kit is the jam got me back shredding quick and easy will be snagging more for the fleet peace out
