The idler gearshaft for big twin motorcycles is a high-quality aftermarket replacement part made in the USA that lived up to its promise of being a worthwhile upgrade over stock parts. As a casual big twin owner who has gotten his hands dirty replacing a few parts, I can say this aftermarket idler gearshaft is a good value upgrade for the money.

Other similar products are way better quality and functionality but if you need a useless paperweight this Idler Gearshaft works great.

I recently put this Idler Gearshaft on my ’97 Fat Boy and it shifts smoother than ever, the gear mesh and machining is spot on, made right here in the USA, it took a little longer than expected to arrive but was worth the wait.

the idler gearshaft seems decent enough once ya get it installed but the instructions could use some work for us weekend mechanic types overall its fine but not perfect

i bought the idler gearshaft big twin and was pretty disappointed the product description said it includes the circuit breaker drive gear idler gear assembly and circuit breaker shaft gear with shims and that the circuit breaker gear shaft and idler gear shaft are sold separately it also said it was made in the usa i gave it 5 stars because the customer service folks were really helpful and fixed my issues fast delivery took forever tho overall i wasnt too impressed with the idler gearshaft im just a casual user but ive tried other brands that seem better made this review is comparing it to other similar gearshafts these are just my quick thoughts the product itself seemed ok but i wasnt wowed i definitely wouldnt buy this again but i guess you get what you pay for
