- Kits come with 4-1/2″ stroker flywheels assembled with mainshafts and rods, 3.625″ bore cylinders, pistons, rings, pins and clips, S&S 514 cam, S&S Super E carb kit, valve springs, adjustable chromoly pushrods, top pushrod tube clips, top motor mount and installation instructions
- Use stock heads, cases, tappets and pinion gears
- Bearings and seals are not included; must be purchased separately
- Made in the U.S.A.
- Require motor cases to be bored to accept 3.625″ cylinders.
- This project requires a skilled technician. It is the responsibility of the person assembling the parts to check all clearances and assembly specifications.

While this engine kit seems impressive on paper, I’m skeptical that an amateur like me could safely install it without professional help, so I’ll pass for now and maybe ask Santa for a more realistic upgrade.

I recently installed the engine performance kit on my Harley and have been very impressed. The kit really woke up my bike and made it much more fun to ride.

Wow, the Hot Set Up kit really lives up to its name! After using it for a few weeks, I’m blown away by the difference it has made – the customizable parts let me fine tune the performance to really increase the power and acceleration of my bike, it’s been an incredible transformation.

This S&S performance kit is a great choice if you want serious horsepower gains from your Harley V-twin, though installation isn’t for amateurs. I was pleased with the made in America parts and service, but had to buy a few extras like bearings to finish the job.
