Wow, the Avalanche Probe is just what I’ve always wanted to find myself buried under feet of snow! Let me tell you, when you’re trapped in an avalanche, you’ll be so glad you brought along this handy dandy aluminum pole to poke around with. In all seriousness, customer service was very helpful when the probe arrived damaged. They quickly sent me a replacement with no hassle. As a casual winter adventurer, I can say this probe seems durable enough for my basic needs. I probably won’t be plunging down any black diamond runs anytime soon, but still, it’s nice to have the peace of mind this probe provides just in case I find myself caught in a freak accident. Overall, while I hope to never actually use it, the Avalanche Probe appears to be a decent quality product for beginner backcountry travelers like me. The company stands behind it too, as evidenced by their great customer service.

wow the avalanche probe really impressed me as a casual outdoorsman who risks my life in avalanche terrain regularly i knew i needed a probe that could withstand the immense forces of tumbling snow this beefy half inch diameter aluminum probe assembles easily so i can fumble with frozen fingers to put it together while buried under feet of heavy packed snow the handy nylon tote bag really completes the package who doesnt want to stylishly display their safety gear after poking at some snow piles in my backyard i can say it seems sturdy they boast an 8 foot length so ill have to trust it can reach that far since i didnt bother assembling it fully but tapping it against branches the build seems solid impressive shipping too they managed to not damage it when sending in a box with its robust construction and easy assembly this is the perfect probe for looking outdoorsy for instagram i might even take it into avalanche terrain if i remember to pack it

i recently got the avalanche probe with bag and flag and i gotta say this thing is awesome the probe is made of super sturdy aluminum that you can put together real easy it comes with a handy bag too i gave this probe a high rating cuz of how well made it is i know quality when i see it it seemed incredibly sturdy and well made id highly reccomend this probe from my own positive experience using it cant wait to take it out on my next adventure

This probe is just phenomenal, it assembles easily as long as you don’t lose any pieces and the customer service folks are real helpful in sending replacement parts right away, this is an amazing probe that I can’t recommend highly enough for any hardcore backcountry enthusiast’s gear bag.
