As a motorcycle enthusiast with experience comparing seats, I took a look at the Black Seat for the Yamaha Tracer 900, which touts CarbonFX inserts, a flashlight, and manual holder, but with a mediocre 3-star rating my expectations weren’t high; upon arrival the seat matched the description, the flashlight was bright, and shipping was delayed a bit but it arrived undamaged, however after installation and testing I found the seat reasonably comfortable thanks to the inserts but not exceptional as I’d hoped, the manual holder is flimsy, the flashlight location is not ideal and it drains the battery quickly, so while the seat performs as advertised and offers some nice features it doesn’t fully live up to my expectations, for the price I’d expect greater comfort and more robust features so I can only recommend this seat to Tracer 900 owners who prioritize aesthetics over exceptional comfort and functionality, more discerning buyers may want to keep looking.
