Wow, the M520 Chain really blew me away. I mean, four whole rivets – how luxurious! After several weeks of casual rides around the neighborhood, I can say this average chain does its job of connecting the pedals to the rear wheel, so I really can’t complain.

This chain does the job without any frills. I’d give it an average rating since it works fine but isn’t anything special.
Colt –
The chain from Standard has impressed me with its durability and smooth shifting after several weeks of tough climbs and sprints. I’m satisfied with this high quality chain and would recommend it to other cycling enthusiasts.

Here is my review of the Standard M five twenty Chain from Shimano. I recently put this chain on my own bike since I’m just a casual rider around town. For a reliable and affordable chain, the M five twenty is a good choice for casual cycling.
Reed –
For the price this chain is solid, it’s held up fine for basic weekend projects though I haven’t tested it hardcore.
Cliff –
This motorcycle chain is well-constructed, made from quality materials, and easy to install. It shifts smoothly and has held up to hundreds of miles of riding so far.
Mike –
As an expert cyclist I’ve used many chains but this Standard M520 lived up to its reputation with solid construction, durability, and quality that make it stand out despite a minor shipping delay.

The M520 chain from Shimano works pretty well and seems durable but as an experienced cyclist, I was disappointed it didn’t last as long as I expected before needing replacement.
