   after several weeks of use im very happy with the black vinyl extended throttle cable for my yamaha as a casual rider i was looking to improve the feel and control of my bike by installing taller handlebar risers the stock cable was just too short so this extended cable is perfect at 8 inches longer than stock it gives me the extra length i need for my new setup the quality and features of this cable are topnotch it has stainless steel braided sections on the ends for durability and a custom look the rubber seals prevent dirt and moisture from getting in at critical joints overall its a direct oem replacement part that improves my yamahas performance and aesthetics i gave the product 3 out of 5 stars due to some minor shipping delays but the wait was worthwhile the cable itself arrived undamaged thanks to the secure packaging once installed the cable performed flawlessly and made a huge difference in the feel and handling of my bike in summary this is a highquality extended throttle cable that gives me better control and a custom look the extra length is perfect for taller bar risers despite small shipping delays im very satisfied and would recommend this cable to anyone looking to improve their yamahas performance and appearance

   I installed this cable on my Yamaha with 12 inch apes and it reached good, but the throttle action is loose compared to stock. Overall it works to extend my reach but leaves room for improvement versus other options.

   For taller riders like me the extended length of this overpriced throttle cable is appreciated though for most it’s an unnecessary upcharge over the stock cable that delivers the same basic function.

   This extended throttle cable is a great replacement part if you’re installing taller handlebar risers or wider handlebars on your Yamaha. I got faster shipping than expected, perfect condition out of the box, and the stainless steel braided cable looks and performs flawlessly.
