Description
- 1″ or 2″ lowering height is available at time of installation
- To maintain proper balanced geometry, it is recommended lowering the rear of the bike the same amount as the front
- Installing a lowering kit will decrease initial ground clearance; motorcycle will be lower to the ground, and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns
Chris –
I installed this lowering kit on my Scout and it does lower the bike, but just be careful of bottoming out over bumps since it sits lower. For shorter riders it definitely helps you flat foot at stops though.

The fork lowering kit is a nice option to get my Scout closer to the ground which improves the handling and aggressive look. I’m very happy with the 2 inch drop and high quality parts from this kit.
Gene –
The fork lowering kit noticeably improved the Scout’s handling and ergonomics by lowering the center of gravity, though the tradeoff is decreased ground clearance requiring caution over bumps. Overall a simple but worthwhile upgrade for riders seeking a lower, more planted ride.
Travis –
The fork lowering kit for the Indian Scout lowered the front suspension but also decreased ground clearance and made the bike’s handling worse. I don’t recommend this kit for Scout owners looking to lower their bikes.
Conrad –
This fork lowering kit is a must-have upgrade that lets you customize your Indian Scout’s ride height for better comfort and handling. I’m thrilled with the improved stability and confidence in turns after installing it.
Moses –
This fork lowering kit drops my Indian Scout an inch closer to the ground which looks cool but makes me ride real careful over bumps though it was easy to install and gets me attention so I’d recommend it if you want the low custom look and don’t mind sacrificing some ground clearance.
Lenny –
This Indian Scout lowering kit does the job if you don’t mind losing some ground clearance, but don’t expect much customization for the price.
