I’ve been using the Shift Linkage Cut Out Chrome for a few weeks and wanted to share my thoughts. It’s easy to install on Softails or Touring models to replace the stock shift rod, the chrome looks nice, and shifting feels smoother, but I wish the shipping was faster and it cost less. For a casual rider like me it’s good enough quality but there are probably better options for hardcore riders.

This Shift Linkage Cut Out Chrome is a really nice upgrade for my Harley Softail I’ve been riding with it for a few weeks now and wanted to give my thoughts the highlights for me are it’s CNC machined from billet aluminum so it looks cool and feels sturdy easy to install since it uses the stock rod ends gives a good custom look with the chrome finish the shifter feels smooth and crisp now compared to the stock linkage install was pretty easy just had to remove the stock one and bolt this one up took maybe 30 mins I’m very happy with this mod and would recommend to other Harley riders it just looks so clean compared to the stock shifter linkage definitely worth it if you’re going for a custom bike build

I tried the chrome shift linkage for my Harley and it looked nice but the quality was poor with rough machining and crooked studs also the shifting felt sloppy and imprecise not smooth like the stock linkage so I can’t recommend this part
