These 793 grips are a nice basic set that provide a comfy and secure hold. As an experienced rider I’d recommend them as a solid budget choice for most mountain or hybrid bikes where you want decent shock absorption and control.

these grips are pretty good for casual riding but can get slippery when wet i’m giving them 3 stars for decent quality at a budget price

the 793 grips are comfortable at first but the gel wore off quickly and the hard inner grip poked through making them less shock absorbing and rough on the hands so i don’t recommend these for most riders

After using the 793 Grips for a few weeks, I’m really happy with how comfortable and durable they are – the dual-density gel gives a great balance of cushioning and grip that makes long rides much easier on my hands.
