Eddie –
I really like Valvoline’s silicone brake fluid. It has a high boiling point which gives me confident braking and protects my brake system better than other fluids I’ve tried.
Kai –
This brake fluid does the job, but it’s not going to blow your hair back or anything – it’s just normal old silicone brake fluid in a new bottle.

As a mechanic with over 20 years under my belt, I couldn’t wait to try out this new silicone brake fluid. After using it for a few weeks, my brakes work the same as with any other brake fluid, so I’d give it a solid 5 stars.
Eddie –
I’ve been using this American-made DOT-5 silicone brake fluid in my car for a few weeks without issues and it lives up to its reputation with impressive high temp boiling points, I would recommend giving it a try.
Burt –
This brake fluid is pretty good and does what it’s supposed to, I’d recommend it if you need some silicone DOT-5.
Gerry –
I’m really happy with this brake fluid. It has performed great in my car and I would definitely recommend it.
Chuck –
I’ve used this silicone brake fluid for a while and it seems to work well at first, but over time it caused some sponginess in the brake pedal probably from swelling the rubber parts, so I have some concerns about potential damage from the silicone.
