I’ve been riding Harleys for over twenty years now and have gone through my share of faulty regulators so I was thrilled to find this high quality US made part from Cycle Electric it controls voltage by blocking current rather than just dumping to ground which lowers stator current and temps reducing drag on the motor for better efficiency the low voltage version prevents overcharging which can damage batteries I’m very happy with how it’s performing after riding with it for a few months now my stator and battery temps stay nice and low even on long rides in the summer heat install was pretty straightforward and only took about an hour the directions could have been more detailed but I’m an experienced wrencher so it wasn’t an issue delivery did take longer than expected but Cycle Electric’s customer service was great about keeping me updated on the status and the quality of the product makes the wait worthwhile I’d give it four out of five stars it’s a bit pricey but you get what you pay for with made in USA quality I’d recommend it to any fellow rider looking to upgrade their charging system.
