This transmission lock nut gets the job done securing my sprocket, but the high price and limited sizing options are disappointing. I’d buy this American-made nut again since it fits and functions reliably, though it took a while to receive it.

This sprocket nut is so beefy, it could probably double as a paperweight – heck, with threads that thick, you could use it as a doorstop too, just don’t overtighten those left-handed threads or you’ll never get it off!
