The seatpost glove provides nice padding for my casual rides to the mailbox, though calling it a “must-have” for serious cyclists seems like a stretch.

These ThudGlove seatpost gloves are sick for protection when sending it hard on the trails. Fit is dialed not too tight or loose and they hold up to serious abuse with no rips after a season of riding. If you want solid hand protection for downhill get these gloves they’ve got the right padding without being bulky.
