- 2-stroke models with engine reverse may have an issue when engaging reverse drive. Must slowly and easily engage the clutch when in reverse. Only try to use reverse under light load situations like off the trailer, or on flat ground. Harsh engagement or high load situations can cause the clutch to miss the reverse notch and drop the belt to the bottom of the sheaves.

As a casual Ski-Doo owner I found the performance gains to be as advertised after installing the Stage 2 Torsion Clutch Kit myself but the instructions could be more clear and there’s an issue using reverse drive after installation which made trailering and maneuvering in reverse more difficult so give it 4 out of 5 stars for adding substantial performance gains although not quite 5 stars due to the reverse drive behavior.

After installing this clutch kit my ZR 6000 has way more power and acceleration, shifts are quicker and smoother but reverse is a little tricky now.

After installing the Stage 2 Torsion Clutch Kit and using it for a few weeks, I’m thoroughly impressed with the huge gains in acceleration, speed, and clutch feel. Despite some minor installation challenges, this kit has massively improved the performance of my 6000-class sled.
