Description
- Thread into muffler, then simply thread the sensor into the adapter
- Sensor adapter solves peak RPM loss problems
- Adapter moves the sensor out of the extreme heat inside the muffler, allowing your machine to hold maximum RPM all the time
- Aluminum finned design dissipates heat to aid in cooling the sensor
- Adapter will cause the sled to run leaner. This is necessary for models which lose peak RPM because the sensor reads too hot
- Will not work with the stock muffler, only aftermarket mufflers
- BMP does not recommend running this adapter unless you notice a problem with your sled
- Not recommended on 2014 models. 2014 models, or older models with the piston and ECU update, should not use this sensor adapter as it will make the sled run too cool. Most 2014 or older models with the updates will be fine with no adapter

I bought this muffler sensor adapter for my sled after noticing it was losing peak RPMs once the engine got hot and it did the job by preventing the RPM drop just be prepared to possibly have to lean out the carb a bit.

This muffler sensor adapter seems to help some snowmobiles maintain peak RPMs by relocating the engine sensor, but could make the engine run too cool for optimal performance so check your model before relying on it.
Clay –
Dang this muffler sensor adapter is sick, it lets my sled finally hit max rpm without the sensor getting all toasted and redlining.
Marty –
This muffler sensor adapter works pretty good for fixing my sled’s rpm loss problem, just gotta move the sensor out a bit to stop it from overheating so much.
Russ –
Wow, can’t wait to get my hands on this Muffler Sensor Adapter and start causin problems for my snowmobile. The 3 star rating tells me it’ll be great.
Percy –
after using the muffler sensor adapter on my snowmobile i would give it a average rating while it did help increase and maintain higher rpms by moving the sensor out of the extreme muffler heat it also caused my sled to run too lean
