Yo, the Gel Shifter Peg is pretty chill. It’s got some dope GEL rubber that feels mad tacky and gives you traction and comfort when you’re shreddin’ – at least that’s what the product description says. I’m just a casual user so I can’t speak to how well they hold up under heavy use. The anodized finish looks slick and matches my fixie’s colorway. The customer rating is 4 stars but I’d give it more like 3.5. Delivery took forevs which was a major bummer but the pegs seem decent quality. Hit up customer service when the package got lost and they actually helped me sort it out pretty quick. So props to them for having my back. Overall it’s a decent upgrade from the stock plastic pegs. The gel gives a little more grip which is clutch when I’m grinding or stalling. Just don’t expect it to be life changing. They make riding a bit more comfy but I still ain’t trying no crazy rail slides. For a casual rider just lookin’ to stunt on the haters with some colored pegs, I’d recommend em.
