The Pivot mittens seem well-made but the insulation is too thin for really cold weather and they lack nice features like fleece lining and touchscreen fingertips found in similar mittens. Unless you just need basic waterproof mittens for light use, I’d spend a bit more for something warmer with more versatility.

These mittens are so warm my hands were sweating in the middle of summer – I’ll save ’em for when there’s actually snow on the ground.
Ian –
These mittens keep my hands nice and toasty but they’re a bit over-engineered for my needs as a casual user.
Gus –
These mittens sound amazing on paper, but in reality they are just okay for casual winter wear.
Chris –
These mittens from the brand offer great waterproof and windproof protection thanks to the liner and palm material. I’d highly recommend these warm, durable mittens to any winter sports enthusiast.
Ken –
These mittens from [brand] keep my hands real toasty even when it’s crazy cold outside. I’ve used them a ton and would totally recommend them for winter sports.

Wow these mittens are just amazing, not! I mean who needs that much insulation in the hand and thumb, my hands were sweating buckets in these things. The palm grip was useless, I spent more time on the ground than skiing, taped up sandwich bags are better than these.
