the v2 grind cams from comp cams are designed for stock engine applications up to 6000 rpm i tested the xl version of these cams in my 350 small block chevy engine these cams get high marks for performance they allow the use of stock pushrods and lifters making for an easy bolt-in upgrade comp cams recommends solid lifters not be used with these cams in my testing the cams performed well up to the rated 6500 rpm limit when used with stock hydraulic lifters the cams delivered noticeable increases in torque and horsepower across the rpm range compared to the stock camshaft installation was straightforward thanks to the cam retaining the stock base circle size the cams are made in the usa and seem to be well-made i encountered no issues with premature wear during testing the cams offer an easy way to wake up a stock engine without breaking the bank they deliver solid power gains while retaining a smooth idle quality for bolt-in performance on a stock engine they are tough to beat

Wow I’m thrilled with my new V2 Grind Cams, after installing them a few weeks ago I can say these cams are a great upgrade, they allow my engine to rev higher while still using the stock lifters and pushrods making installation a breeze, the cams are made in the USA and seem very durable so far, some highlights are the ability to run up to 6500 rpm with the stock lifters, the use of stock base circle sizes to work with existing pushrods, and that they’re designed for engines up to 6000 rpm, overall I would give these cams 4 out of 5 stars, they perform great and were easy to install, the customer service team was also very helpful, while delivery did take a little longer than expected it was worth the short wait to get these great cams, I would absolutely recommend V2 Grind Cams to anyone looking to increase their engine’s rpm range without a complicated installation.

This cam is just peachy – it turned my grocery-getter into a true beast of a racer with its screaming 6000 rpm redline. I can’t believe this bolt-in cam has got my stock valvetrain singing at Le Mans speeds!

The V2 Grind Cams are a great choice for anyone looking to get more power out of their engine without a full rebuild, I’m a casual user and was really impressed with how easy they were to install, they can reuse existing parts, are made in the USA, and really woke up my engine compared to stock while still being street friendly.
