Description
- Simply turn the release valve counter-clockwise and you’re pumping air only on the down-stroke; a great option when inflatable is almost full and there is back pressure
- Accordion-style hose stretches to five ft. long and interlocks to the pump so it doesn’t fall off while you’re pumping
- Very effective for “topping off” large towables in the boat, since peak pressure is an impressive 14 psi
- This double-action pump inflates and deflates towables, kayaks, boats, airbeds and other inflatables
- Delivers a continuous stream of air on both the up and the down strokes
- Four universal valves are included to fit Boston valves and stem valves
- Volume is two liters/stroke

This hand pump from Airhead is decent for occasional inflation needs, though it does take some effort. I was able to fill my pool floats and kayak despite having to pump vigorously at times.
Fred –
This airhead hand pump is great for inflating all sorts of stuff, it’s easy to use and pumps things up quick and does everything you’d want in an inflator.
Rod –
The Airhead hand pump is a great double-action pump that pumps a ton of air with each stroke, comes with different valve adapters, and has good customer service.
Hal –
This Airhead hand pump was a total letdown, it took forever to inflate my raft and the valve kept popping off no matter how hard I held it.
Spike –
This hand pump works fine for topping off air mattresses and floats, but don’t expect it to be a powerhouse for serious inflation tasks.
Abe –
This air pump is just okay, I guess it pumps air but nothing to get too excited about.
